Clean and maintain the public areas according to the property’s standards of excellence to ensure guest satisfaction.


  • Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture suing vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine.
  • Clean rooms, hallways and restrooms.
  • Washes wall and ceilings, moves and arranges furniture, turns mattresses.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs and polishes floors.
  • Dusts and polishes metal work.
  • Collects soiled linen for laundry.
  • Stores linen in housekeeping areas.
  • Removes trash collected by room attendant.
  • Maintain storage areas on the property in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Cleans bathrooms in public areas.
  • Vacuums the carpets in the public areas including the meeting rooms.
  • Reports any item in the public areas that needs maintenance repair to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Wear rubber gloves when removing dirty linen and cleaning bathroom.
  • Performs monthly deep cleaning projects as directed by your supervisor.
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
  • Use all chemicals as recommended by manufacture.
  • Report any unsafe working and guest room conditions immediately to your supervisor.
  • Provide the highest level of professionalism with dealing with guests. Recognize and greet each guest you come in contact with.
  • All other duties as requested by your supervisor.



  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.



This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Training in biohazard clean up and disposal.


General understanding of MSDS and OSHA requirements.


Operation and maintenance of floor care equipment preferred.


Basic to advanced level in custodial technician training.



High school education and one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Valid California Driver’s License. Must obtain Title 31 certification as trained by Rolling Hills Casino.
