A Player Service Representative is dedicated to serving the guests of Rolling Hills Casino at the Shasta Club desk, Reception/Coat Check, Traveler’s Center and on the gaming floor with the best possible service by performing the following duties.

• Provides high quality customer service and hospitality in the execution of tasks and responsibilities.

• Provides specific and general departmental information regarding the casino and casino’s promotions to casino patrons.

• Receives, appropriately greets and transfers all incoming callers in a polite and accurate manner.

• Builds and promotes Players Club memberships by signing up new players at the Shasta Club desk, Coat Check, Traveler’s Center and on the gaming floor.

• Develops and maintains information on current promotions or special events to promote and carries out promotions and events.

• Performs liaison tasks by receiving and appropriately directing internal and external guests and callers.
• Facilitates access to information, responds to written materials and makes appropriate referrals to facilitate dissemination of information.
• Provides specialized services to tour groups, lodge groups, and VIP guests.
• Provides tours for casino guests as needed.
• Enter all new players club memberships and data entry for complimentary authorization points.
• Redeems Players Club points for casino merchandise, cash vouchers, lodging and other casino services. Researches, compiles and prepares data for reports; assists with special projects.
• Participates in casino promotions, events and concerts to ensure excellent customer service.
• Issues appropriate promotional free slot play, log transactions to the Promotional adjustments log sheet and submit to Gaming Commissions at the end of each shift.
• Issues/Redeems appropriate promotional prizes, items and vouchers to casino guests.
• Participates in casino promotions, such as tournaments.
• Provides feedback and assists as needed for each promotion and event.
• Carries out the Jackpot Procedure by celebrating jackpots with balloons, merchandise, photos and Jackpot photo release forms.
• Responds in an appropriate manner to all inquiries from the media and other public relations situations including, but not to bomb threats.
• Broadcast announcements to Rolling Hills Casino employees.
• Performs variety of clerical duties and projects.
• Check in and Check out coats, packages, wheel chairs, pets etc. for guests.
• Count and reconcile daily cash flow during shift.
• Straighten and organize inventory at the Shasta Club, warehouse, Coat Check and Traveler’s Center.
• Light laundry and general housekeeping.
• Oversee showers in the Truckers Amenities building.
• Process feeds, check in/check out and take reservations for the RV Park guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Minimum 21 years of age. Valid California Driver’s License

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Must have basic computer aptitude and customer service skills.  Must be able to type at least 25 WPM.  Must show the ability to work under team management approach.  Must be willing to work any shift and weekends. The ability to speak a second language a plus.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Valid driver’s license.
