Overview

Ensures Rolling Hills Casino employees are fitted properly with required uniform. 

Responsibilities

  • Measures and fits employees for new and replacement uniforms to ensure the casino/department standards are met
  • Alters uniforms to provide the employee with the required fit
  • Performs all sewing functions in a professional, acceptable and timely manner
  • Document and maintain employee uniform files
  • Document and maintain employee locker assignments
  • Manage and control uniform Par levels with regular uniform inventories; communicate with Management the need for uniform orders to maintain Par
  • Receive and verify all uniform shipments
  • Evaluate incoming used uniforms and discard as they become sub standard
  • Launder returned uniforms at Travelers Center as needed
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the Uniform Room
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree preferred.  Must have at least 5 years of Sewing experience.  Must communicate effectively and have strong interpersonal skills.  Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Must be willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, invoices, and packing slips.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Tribal Gaming Commission.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
