  • Overview

    Maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.


    • Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
    • Washes pots, pans, and trays.
    • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
    • Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
    • Segregates, removes trash, garbage and places it in designated containers.
    • Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
    • Sort bottles and breaks disposable ones in bottle crushing machine.
    • Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
    • Works together as a team to achieve customer service.
    • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
    • Sets up banquet tables.
    • Washes and peels vegetables.
    • Requisition cleaning supplies as needed.
    • Follow established company and departmental standards for personal appearance and behavior.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:  Minimum 18 years of age. Slip Resistant Shoes. Hepatitis B shot

    Education and/or Experience:  High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, and/or one to three months related experience preferred. Food handlers card preferred.
