  • Overview

    Verifies incoming shipments, rotates stock, and aides with product distribution.


    • Receives inbound shipments, verifies order accuracy, dates and stores food products.
    • Counts and/or weighs incoming merchandise to verify specifications of items on order.
    • May transport products to other departments, using a hand truck or industrial truck.
    • Insure that Shipping and Receiving docks are cleaned and free of safety hazards.
    • Responsible for unloading trucks and proper distribution of all received goods and merchandise.
    • Daily use of Worldship UPS Software for end of day shipments.
    • Responsible for cleaning and organization of walk-ins, freezers, and pantry.
    • Follows all safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines when handling, storing, and rotating products.
    • Assists Food and Beverage in pulling product for production.
    • May be asked to assist in Monthly Inventory.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements: Minimum 21 years of age. Valid California driver’s license. Slip resistant shoes and Hepatitis B Shot Required.

    Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and one year minimum experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in receiving, FIFO, HACCP and forklift operation are preferred.



    The uniform is provided and will be in a locker at work. The employee will come to work and change into the uniform before clocking in for their shift. Non slip shoes will be required and must be purchased by the employee.

    Ability to read and comprehend basic written English instructions, diagrams, and professional emails. Able to communicate clearly and effectively with vendors, departments, and fellow co-workers through various forms of communication.


    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in common units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and situations. Ability to work with minimal supervision.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Valid driver’s license.


    Physical Demands

    Work Environment

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes, vibration and moving mechanical parts. Employee is often exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid environment, extreme cold and hot conditions, thus nonslip shoes are required. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
