  • Overview

    The Security Dispatcher acts as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls for in house and outside calls, as well as in person visitors and vendors.  




    • Receives emergency and non-emergency calls, prioritize and record significant information. Be an excellent communicator and be able to remain calm and composed at all times, especially in emergency situations.
    • Ability to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action as necessary.
    • Ability to make the appropriate data entries, being accurate and timely.
    • Ability to issue equipment to the appropriate persons and maintain the appropriate documentation and data entries.
    • Uses radio, phone or computer to send appropriate staff or vehicles to calls for service and monitors calls for additional information/duties/status.
    • Provides staff with the provided information collected to obtain the best results out of contacts and ensure correct information is relayed to appropriate staff.
    • Enters data correctly in a timely manner in the computer system and maintains logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
    • Assigns appropriate staff to service calls to ensure prompt response.
    • Correctly issues and documents payroll checks, visitor badges, keys, and staff on/off property status
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
    • Computer knowledge in the following programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Report Programs, Etc.).
    • Fast, accurate typing with experience in data entry.
    • Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Proficient in English (oral and written).
    • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Active listener with excellent communication skills.
    • Sound judgement and critical thinking.
    • Must be reliable
    • Other duties as assigned



    • Minimum 21 years of age.


    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

    Education and/or Experience

    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

    Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position preferred.


    Language Skills

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to apply common sense, understand any instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. Must have a Valid California Driver's license and must be able to be insurable by the company insurance carrier.  Must obtain Title 31 certification as trained by Rolling Hills Casino.


    Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
